 Pokémon U.S. National Championships
         Move to St. Louis!  

Pokémon is pleased to announce that, due to overwhelming success and growth, the Pokémon TCG U.S. National Championships will be moving to St. Louis, Missouri !!! Read the Press release from the Organized Play Website

Events will be held at America’s Center, in the heart of downtown St. Louis, from Friday, June 26th, through Sunday, June 28th, 2009.

A new promotion starting this Fall!  Announced on Mopokemon, and nowhere else.

For any player who wins 5 or more tournaments (1st place in age division as determined by TOM software, or champion, if championship level event)…that player is going to receive the EXTREMELY RARE 5 Winner Pin.  This is an official pin that was produced by PUI and never released!  So….Pokeball GO and win 5 events and get one of these pins! 

What events count for these???  Weekly tournaments.  Prereleases.  City Championships.  Battle Roads.  After-drafts.

We will START tracking these events at the August 4th Weekly Event at B&B Games in Eureka, and keep track through all of the Events all through the year!!!  For events in the St. Louis Area Only, while supplies last.

 

2008-2009 Tournament format

In the interest of maintaining a healthy tournament environment, Pokémon Organized Play removes older sets from the Modified format at the beginning of each new tournament season. Each rotation challenges existing players to create new strategies while allowing new players to get into organized play with a minimum investment.

2008-2009 Modified-Legal Reprint List
Last Updated: 9/1/2008  Pokémon Organized Play permits the use of cards from sets that are not legal in the Modified format, as long as those cards have been reprinted in a Modified-legal set.
